We are thrilled to feature this adorable Purl family, Tim, Jessi and their beautiful daughter Mary! This is a home study ready, Texas family that is so excited to add another child to their family through the grace of adoption!
Tim and Jessi knew before they were married that they would not be able to have children naturally due to Tim’s childhood cancer, and they feel blessed to have adopted Mary through an open adoption almost four year ago. They would love to give Mary a sibling and they are hopeful they will be chosen again!

This family’s cultural heritage is important to them. Tim is Scottish and Irish and he wore a kilt to their wedding—Jessi is German and loves to make traditional German food—and Mary is partly Hispanic so they have begun celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe and other traditions in a special way as a family! This couple also loves sports, football season can get rowdy in their house!
