We’d love to introduce you to this amazing, home study approved Purl Family from Illinois: John and Amanda! These two met in 2014 and instantly bonded over their love of football, roller coasters and all things Disney. In 2017, they were married and love every minute they get to spend together and with their families. They are excited to grow through adoption and can’t wait to share their love and their home.
John and Amanda love sports! Their first date was watching a Bears-Jaguars game with a friendly $1 wager (which Amanda won). They are proud to call themselves “nerds”, as they love all things Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel and Disney! So much so that they even had a Star Wars themed wedding. As John puts it, Amanda is a fun and goofy person, whose laugh makes the room light up while also having an intense passion for the things that she loves. She has a playful and competitive spirit that makes life more interesting and fun. In Amanda’s words, John is one of the most patient and amazing people she has ever met. He always knows exactly what to do to put a smile on her face. John and Amanda try to live their lives to the fullest and love one another everyday. They cannot wait to build their family and share their love and lives with a little one of their own.
